Discover one of the heartiest mushrooms for your garden with our Black King Oyster Plant & Grow Mushroom Starter Block. This USDA Certified Organic hybrid combines the savory succulence of blue oysters with the dense, meaty texture of king trumpets, offering a rich and satisfying mushroom experience straight from your soil.

Black Kings prefer cooler, shaded spots and need consistent humidity to thrive—especially during their early fruiting stages. When buried outdoors in the right conditions, they reward growers with large, meaty harvests. While they require a bit more attention to moisture than some oyster varieties, their robust flavor and texture make them well worth the effort.

Ideal for gardeners ready to take on a slightly more involved but highly rewarding mushroom variety.
